Joining a Zoom Meeting with a Meeting ID

If you want to participate in audio via telephone, follow the instructions below. Otherwise, simply select 'Join Computer by Audio' and tick the 'Automatically join audio by computer...' option box to avoid being prompted again in the future.

You will then be prompted on how you wish to join your audio. This is just a name to identify you in the meeting, so please enter both your given and family names.

Just before entering the meeting, you may be prompted to enter a display name. If an 'Application Launcher' or 'External Protocol Request' box appears, simply tick the 'Remember my choice...' option box and then click 'OK'.

Once you're inside the Zoom meeting, you'll need to join your audio. This is usually done by clicking on the microphone icon in the bottom left corner of the screen.

If you are joining a Zoom meeting for the first time from a computer, you will need to download a small application file. This process is easy to complete on all commonly used browsers. On mobile devices, you will be prompted to download the Zoom Cloud Meetings app from the applications store.

To join a Zoom meeting using your computer or laptop:

1. Go to 'www.zoom.us'(http://www.zoom.us)

2. Enter the Meeting ID that you have been provided with in the appropriate field and click 'Join' (the Meeting ID will be a 9 or 10 digit number).

3. Click on the Zoom link (it will look something like this: OR)

You can also join the call by clicking on the link that may have been sent to your email or on an event page on this website.
